Super-Bloom at the Moon! Wildflower Impressionistic Landscape Painting Acrylic on Canvas - 9x12 or 11” x 14” canvas (plus a mini practice paper or canvas) - Mature teens and adults welcome Create your escape with a local talent, Mary Jane Erard. Mary Jane is an accomplished artist and educator in the Toledo area and we are so excited she will be teaching this class. Mary Jane is joined by assistant, Shannon Eis, another well known art educator from the area. This course is a 3 hour session that will explore acrylic on canvas with a focus on impressionistic style painting of a super-bloom landscape. Bring your own adult beverages or delicious non-alcohol drinks. Some people bring a snack too. You will learn how: - to manipulate acrylic in an impressionistic style. - and when to layer color for maximum impact, and learn some color theory is employed in this technique. - to create depth in your painting with shading and atmospheric perspective. In addition to these techniques the class will learn from each other how each student approached their process to create a successful painting. Our first project will be created on a small practice for exploration, from there students will employ best practices to create an additional larger painting. 1 session available: Fri, 4/11 (600-900) $65 per person Refunds allowed with minimum 72 hours notice.
